Pretty simple.  Run a mile, paddle a mile, then down six beers without throwing them up. Thats the Hermosa Ironman.  It’s harder than one would think and if you win it, then you become part of local legend. This semi organized, semi illegal but entirely awesome competition takes place every Fourth of July in my hometown of Hermosa Beach.
