In Lopburi, a small town about three hours north from Bangkok, there is a town overrun with monkeys. Not just a few monkeys or a hundred monkeys but thousands of little furry humanoids.  Wrecking and pulling on telephone wires, fighting each other, looting shop fronts, stealing my fried chicken, these were some of the craziest monkeys I’ve dealt with. Not that ive dealt with many monkeys but still…

In the middle of town, there is a temple built specifically for the monkeys,  The monkeys that live in the little park get fed everyday by the towns people and are pretty nice.  They will rush you and jump on your head and pick through and fix your hair.  Things that cost hundreds of dollars in Beverly hills.  They hate the city monkeys and will literally go crazy on them if they try to enter the temple.  All in all it just confirms my belief that it’s always awesome staying in a city where the monkeys outnumber the people.
